Russel LaFleur
Pastor
Pastor Russel LaFleur serves alongside his wife Rachel in Ringgold, where they are raising their family. After faithfully serving as a bi-vocational pastor for almost eight years, he came to serve as the Pastor here at Springhill in 2023. His ministry is anchored in the week-by-week teaching and preaching of God's Word, with a deep focus on equipping the saints. His highest priorities are lost souls, and preparing believers to boldly engage the enemy while they live as uncompromising ambassadors for Jesus Christ until He returns or calls us home.
"I am grateful to have been entrusted with the care of this congregation and do not take it lightly. My prayer is simply that when the work is done, Christ alone will have been exalted, the saints will have been built up in the Word, and the lost will have heard the gospel plainly spoken. I believed the good news of Jesus Christ when I was only four years old and went astray as a teen and young man; this has given me a deep-rooted passion for those who fall away after they are saved. One of my heart's aims is to plead with them as one would with a wayward sibling who has gone astray from our Father, as I myself have repeatedly and regretfully done throughout my life."

Ryan Adams
Associate Pastor / Youth Pastor
Ryan has spent 20 years working with youth, much of that with at-risk young people, and that experience shapes everything about how he connects with students today. He joined the staff in 2024 and serving alongside his wife Susan, they have a passion for helping students dig into Scripture, ask hard questions, and understand what they actually believe and why. They are convinced students deserve real theology, not watered-down answers.
Outside of church, they are at home with their six children, loud house, full schedule, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
"Serving the students at Spring Hill Baptist Church is one of the greatest privileges of my life. Everything we do points back to one thing, helping students discover that Jesus truly is enough.
Parents, thank you for trusting us with your kids. We don't take that lightly. You are the most important influence in your child's life, and our goal is never to replace that. We want to be a resource you can lean on as you point your students to Christ. At the end of the day, programs and events are great, but what I want most is for students to actually know Jesus, not just know about Him."
